Spring Portraits

I better post the follow-up to this post before spring is unofficially over. We still haven’t been able to coordinate a shoot for the two girls, but summer is practically here. I’m sure we’ll find opportunities soon!

Here’s Sophia, feeling every bit the princess.

Joanna’s College Senior Portraits

For her senior portraits, Joanna wanted to visit a few locations dear to her. First stop was Fairmount Park and Boathouse Row along the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. She was a rower (very cool), so here’s where she spent much of her time. From there, we took a walk to the art museum.

I quickly saw that Joanna is a happy person—lovely, faith-full and fun.

Congratulations on graduating, Joanna! Can’t wait to see where you go.

This was her boathouse:

Love that Philadelphia skyline:

The shoes! I had to get a picture of Joanna’s cute shoes. She designed these herself:

See? She’s up for it. She’s fun!

Andrew and Bonnie Engaged

I met Andrew and Bonnie for their engagement session at Longwood Gardens. They are beautiful together. Which makes the next couple of months ugly – Andrew will be in Basic Training!

Thank you both. I hope time flies by between now and September!

Living History Farm

On this beautiful day, I met up with Tracy Lee at the Living History farm. We talked shop, took pictures and watched the animals. She happens to be an animal whisperer/expert, so I learned a lot. What I did NOT learn was how to stay calm when attacked by a gaggle of cranky geese. But that wasn’t her fault!

Soon, this gorgeous sky gave way to a massive thunder cloud. A pretty abrupt ending to an otherwise lovely time.

“My little Buttercup, has the sweetest smile…”

Basketball Club International

BCI Edge held a Basketball Plus Camp recently here in Philadelphia — that’s part basketball and part inspiration. The kids seemed to really enjoy it. And I had a fun time capturing them at play and listening to the athletes/speakers.
