The teenage years! They’ll be upon my family before I know it. When they are, I hope I have with my kids what this Mom has with hers.
This session was a gift initiated by Amber, the oldest daughter, for her Mom. And she organized it from across the country. See what I mean?
More family fun! It’s that time of year. I was privileged to spend a couple of hours with Coltan, Karlina and their wonderful parents last week.
Isn’t she precious? You may remember this post of beautiful Karlina when she was 1 week old.
She’s discovered her little hands.
Here’s Coltan. What a BOY, always moving and watching, kicking tires — which is all the more adorable because he’s such a big-hearted little guy.
We tried a few times to make the Santa hat work. The kids weren’t having much of it. I loved these two shots but didn’t catch any red in the hat. Alaska is near the North Pole, right?
I enjoyed this shoot with the Farradays! They’re golden– in more ways than one.
The girls were especially fun because I GET the sister thing. : )

Ahhh, the Lake House. The noisy world doesn’t know about that place. Here are some shots from our fun time with my husband’s wonderful family, who shared their home with us, not to mention great food and laughs. Good times!

And this is Elizabeth. Jon introduced us to her this week. We all loved her! The kids had the cutest things to add to our high praise. They volunteered these statements:
“She’s amazing!”
“Elizabeth is sooooo fun and she knows about Teen Titans!”
“Elizabeth is a little like a Mom when she scratches my head.”
“I’m going to miss my friend Elizabeth!” It was too cute!
