Merry Christmas

I’ve been busy making magic this happy Christmastime and we are celebrating!

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

From the Garden

See you next spring…

Ready for the Storm?

We arrived home from the peace of the Lakehouse only to jump into storm preparations. Candles. water. batteries. check. And I’m making the kids’ favorite soup. Bring it.

Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to me. Yes!

This one was taken by my dear Liam. Thanks, Son!

Notice Luke’s “smolder” above?

It’s slow going on the blog posts this month because I’m short on TIME. I hope to catch up soon.

Easter Celebration

My sister’s family celebrated a very memorable Easter with us on Sunday. Here are a few shots of the pretty. Otherwise I was hosting, cooking, visiting and having fun. I didn’t get any pictures of the egg hunt in the pouring rain, or many of the the happy tables filled with food and laughing kids. We LOVE this day, though we celebrate the resurrection all year.
The kids’ table
This (below) was a fun idea from Martha Stewart that matched my nest theme perfectly.
