Philadelphia at Night

Philadelphia is such a beautiful, accessible city. I was glad to see the night lights and architecture recently with Alan. We had dinner and enjoyed a very fun, but COLD walk through town. I took a few shots as we drove around before heading home.

This view of the Philadelphia Museum of Art made getting out of the warm car worthwhile. It’s beautiful at night!

note: For scale, notice there are two people in front of the columns on the right!

Carri Roman So pretty. I can feel the cold metal of the tripod. Brrrr!

Lori I’m not above it, but I didn’t take the tripod with me on our date night. This is a hand-held shot. But it was freezing! : )

Carri Wow Lor. I think my hands would have been shaking from the cold too much to get a sharp picture. ;) I really enjoy architectural night shots like this. They seem more intriguing.

Lori I love them, too. I’d like to do more night shooting. I’m up anyway.
