Beautiful Sky

Rachel – Wow Lori~ this is beautiful. What sort of settings do you use to capture a shot like this? What, if any, editing did you do?

Lori – Thanks, Rachel. I use manual settings — I control the shutter speed and aperture. That way, I decide whether I want the ground, the blue sky or the clouds to be exposed correctly. In this case, I wanted the blue sky correct. Can you believe I took this from the turnpike when I could find a clear shot! Of course I wasn’t driving.
